Hundreds crowded into the Broward College South Campus’ Performing Cultural Arts Theater, Building 68B, 7200 Pines Blvd. Pembroke Pines to voice their opinions and to listen to dozens of experts, legislators, case workers and practitioners, and foster parents discus ways we can curb the number of children dying in our current system. Funding, education and respect are the keys to a better future. This dialog was a well-needed one. At first the meeting was slow going, but the more people participated; the more enlightening it was. Let’s stay positive and continue our path towards a better system.
